GREAT SUSPENSE!! Well executed and suspenseful, this book had me turning the pages violently trying to figure out what would happen next and how it would resolve. The story line is very creative and the action starts quickly and keeps throwing punches. It gave me what I want in a great thriller, it offered hints but didn't talk down to me, which let me play detective to try to figure out the answers and make intelligent guesses on my own, which is really why I read thrillers and why I love TV shows like THE CLOSER and LAW & ORDER. GET THIS BOOK, IT'S GREAT. I picked up this book to escape from all the technical stuff I have to read. I could not put it down until I finished it. The dialogue was logical as if the characters were real people and the events were so credible it was as if the book was non fiction. I took this book on the plane with me for a 3 hour trip this summer. It was the first time I was ever happy my plane was delayed in Newark because I wanted to finish the book before the plane landed. It is a very fast read because you need to know what's going to happen and don't want to put it down. I found it very realistic which made it super scary from a political point of view. I could definitely see something like this happening in this country if it hasn't already!! Ken Corre is a brilliant writer and I look forward to reading his next book!!! Here are five good reasons to read Victim Donor right now, before it becomes a movie: The theme of organ theft is both timely and frightening, Ken has conceived a plot that is brilliantly unfolded, the writing is smooth and flowing, the characters are appealing and superbly revealed, there is suspense and action critical to the story on almost every page...no reading through tedious description and pointless sidetracks. The Victim Donor is a brilliant thriller that combines medicine, technology, and world economy affairs in one story that could happen to anyone. I am a physician working in the world of medical technology, so this book did it for me. The clinical scenarios are extremely realistic and well written. The technical lingo and gadgets used are awesome. The political drama is something I believe happens every day, but nobody finds out. I highly recommend Corre's book. I will not be surprised when it makes it to the silver screen.

ARE WE WORTH MORE DEAD THAN ALIVE TO THE RICH AND POWERFUL? I could see this happening. The Victim Donor a fantastic book with a mysterious set of circumstances which lead the main character, John Harris, to explore one of the most gruesome expressions of social inequality-- becoming the vulnerable prey of human organ theft! The book is filled with non-stop suspense that will leave you guessing till the very end. Read it for yourself, you owe it to yourself.

AWESOME!!! Wow! My adrenaline is still pumping! I would recommend The Victim Donor to anyone looking for a high-voltage thriller to read. Ken Corre has created a tour de force that will keep you glued to the pages of his book. The Victim Donor is definitely a heart-pounding adventure that has an intriguing plot that was made for the big screen. I can see Matt Damon as the protagonist John Harris.
