LIPS is a sequel to Ken’s second novel, The Hacker. JAN STARK has left the comfort of the Denver Police Department. She and her mentor, HARLEY CRAWFORD, Chief of the Homicide division, had set an elaborate trap that allowed them to silence the gruesome serial killer dubbed The Hacker. Harley Crawford retired and it was time for Jan to move on. Owing to her near-prodigy abilities, including her formidable intellect, intense focus, prowess with the handgun and confidential information in her personnel file, she became the youngest field agent drafted into the FBI’s Violent Crime Apprehension division (VICAP).But, this was far from an ordinary crime-fighting gig. She was inducted into an elite subunit of VICAP, unbeknownst to all but a few people in high federal places, composed of agents who were given a very wide latitude and plenty of funding, for hands-on involvement. They could work with the local reporting detectives or not, their choice. Jan’s unit was formed to produce results. Their vision was now proactive, not reactive. Results meant perps. But not just any perps, vile and lethal perps. Jan’s meteoric rise within the ranks of law enforcement continued unbridled; that is, until the unthinkable happened. Harley is forced out of retirement, but is it too late?

RIVETING!! You feel like you are in a movie..

ON THE BRIGHTER SIDE of Covid ... ☀️ If you want an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, intense thriller of a book 📚 that keeps your mind off of the hell we are currently living in. If you love an easy page turner and enjoy the riveting suspense of action detective work mixed in with so many riveting medical details you can’t help but wonder... 🤔

...Best of all written by an extremely intelligent, dedicated and hilarious Emergency Department Physician I get the honour to work alongside - The famous Dr Ken Corre... .... based on a true story....

If you like Connelly and Baldacci you’ll love this

Dr. Corre has two previous books, both good. This one is great: from the true story that led to the book, to the oh-so-satisfying denouement, this is a classic. Yes, it reads very cinematic, but don’t be fooled. This is a novel. Great characters, great plot, great atmosphere. You will not believe the premise but trust the doctor— truth can be stranger than fiction, and here you have a strange, true tale told by a doc who has truly seen it all. You will not be disappointed.

Page Turner!

A really compelling, exciting story full of twists and turns. Very fast paced. It feels like you’re watching a movie. It heats up towards the end. I was hooked through the last page.
